Appeal to Devout Hindus

This is the truth of Madgaon Blasts! Biased media is alleging that Sanatan Sanstha, a spiritual organisation is behind the blasts, but this is not the truth! See the below news for the truth of Madgaon Blasts!

O Hindus, spread this truth about Sanatan Sanstha & HJS on web world by forwarding this e-mail to your friends, relatives and each and every Hindu you know!

No relation with Madgaon, Goa blasts ! – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Panaji (Goa): One Marathi news channel has been broadcasting false news, saying that Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is connected with the blasts in Margao, Goa on Friday night. This is nothing but a planned conspiracy to defame Hindu Janajagruti Samiti even though HJS is not at all related with the Margao blasts and not a single Official has charged HJS for the same.

The said news channel did not even bother to contact any responsible person of HJS and is thus broadcasting one-sided news. We hereby clarify that HJS is not related with this case. We are also warning that if this News channel continues to defame HJS in this case, then we will have to take legal action against the officials of this news channel. This information was given by Mr. Jayesh Thali, the Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Goa.
Detailed News about Madgaon Blasts in Goa
Sanatan’s Seeker dies in the Madgaon blast triggered by unknown miscreants !
Mr Prithviraj Hazare, Editor of ‘Sanatān Prabhat’ group in police custody !

Madgoan (Goa): A Seeker of Sanātan, Mr. Malgonda Patil aged 28 years from Sangli, was severely injured in a massive bomb explosion which took place yesterday night around 9.45pm near Banjāra Hotel, at central Madgaon, He later succumbed to the injuries due to excessive bleeding late at night. The explosion took place in a scooter bearing registration number GH 05-7800 which was placed in the parking area near the hotel. Detailed information about the explosion will be available only after further enquiry. A red alert has been declared in the state of Goa. Chief Minister Mr. Digamber Kamat visited the site late last night and informed the media, that the exact reason behind this explosion will be investigated. People who were present at the site at the time of explosion informed that the explosion was so severe that these two were blown to a great height and at the same time the entrances of nearby shops of Nokia and Nanu were damaged.

Chief Minister arrived at the blast site at 11 pm and held a meeting with the South Goa Police Chief and other senior Police officers to discuss the blast, its ramifications and arrangements for investigations into the blast. Police were conducting intense search of all the vehicles present near the blast site.
Mr. Yogesh Naik is Safe!
The news of the death of the second person injured, Mr. Yogesh Naik, aged 26 years was flashed by PTI and other media. But his family informed that Shri Yogesh is admitted in the intensive care unit at a hospital and is undergoing treatment.

Sanatan Family deeply grieves the death of Sanātan Seeker Malgonda Patil and offers condolences to his family.
Sanatan Sanstha assures of complete co-operation in the investigation!
The explosion at Madgoan is very unfortunate and Sanatan Sanstha strongly protest this incidence. Some news channels have published news about custody of two members of Sanatan Sanstha and laying siege of Ramnathi Ashram. Sanatan Sanstha is an organisation which is involved in imparting education regarding righteousness. Sanatan Ashram plays an important role in the society in imparting correct education regarding righteousness. Sanatan Ashram does not support any immoral or illegal activities under any circumstances. So Sanatan Sanstha assures of full co-operation in investigation of this incident by the police system. Accordingly Sanatan Sanstha and all the seekers gave full co-operation to the police at night on 16th October 2009 during their enquiry and will continue to do so henceforth.

Some newspapers have accused and held Sanatan Sanstha responsible based on the enquiry of Sanatan Ashram conducted by the police. Accusations based on incomplete and inconclusive facts will defame the national activities of Sanatan Sanstha. This type of accusation is absolutely incorrect. We request everyone not to make baseless statements and to be patient until all facts have been verified and legal proceedings are completed. The trustees of Sanatan Sanstha have appealed to all the members of the society to co-operate in this matter.
Police enquiry at Sanatan’s Ramathi Ashram, Goa!
Ramnathi (Goa): A team of police officials reached Sanatan Ashram , Ramnathi, Goa, on the night of 16 October 2009 at 11.45 pm to make investigations about Mr. Malgonda Patil. They enquired about the address of Mr. Malgonda Patil and his relatives. Later they entered and searched the room where Mr. Malgonda Patil was residing in. For one and half hour the police team was sitting outside the room and cross questioning Mr. Sandeep Shinde and Mr. Amit Deghvekar, his roommates.
Police lay siege to the ashram and make enquiries about the ashram!
During the above mentioned activity on October 16 at 12:30 pm in the night some policemen visited the area behind the ashram where new building is under construction and stopped the construction work. They also searched and questioned a Seeker present there. Around 1 pm at night a police van with around 100 policemen arrived and searched the whole ashram including the area where plantation is done behind the ashram.

Police were using powerful floodlights to scan the ashram building. At this time some seekers who were trying to accompany them were driven back into the ashram. Press reporters who had also arrived with the police, video recorded the ashram and its surroundings. At night around 2:30 am the Police took into their custody 4 hard disks, one book, 8 CDs, some notebooks and 3 photographs from Mr. Malgonda Patil’s room. Later some police waited and the rest took into custody Shri Sandeep Shinde and Mr. Amit Degvekar and left. They both were released from Police Station after enquiry.
Sniffer Dogs and Bomb Diffusing squad arrives for enquiry on the second day!
The next day 17 October 17, 2009 at 11:00 am in the morning police arrived at the ashram with their sniffer dogs and bomb diffusing squad. At 11:30 am they began their search of everything kept at the reception counter. At 12:30 pm the police stared noting down the name and address of all seekers. They also enquired and noted down details of their seva and duration of their stay at the ashram. At this time some seekers were subjected to intense questioning. Before noting the details police also filmed and took images of all seekers. While this was going on, press reporters were filming and recording the ashram details. From 12:45 pm the sniffer dog squad and bomb diffusing squad searched all the departments of the ashram and some residential quarters. The squad went back empty handed as nothing was found by the sniffer dogs and metal detectors.

Around 2 pm police officials took Mr. Virendra Marāthe into custody for further enquiry at the police station. Most police from the police search team left at around 2:30 pm after completing the search operations leaving few policemen behind. Mr. Marathe was released from Police Station after enquiry.

Mr. Prithviraj Hazare, editor of ‘Sanātan Prabhat’ was also taken into custody by the police at around 6:10 pm.
Sanatan is behind Goa blasts ! – alleges Ravi Naik
Panaji (Goa): While speaking with a correspondent of NDTV News Channel, the Home Minister of Goa Mr. Ravi Naik said, “We have found the same circuits in Sanatan Ashram, as were found at the place of the blasts.” (The Home Minister has made such false statements due to an envious prejudiced image of Sanatan Sanstha, even though the Police have not recovered any such circuits from Sanatan Ashram ! – Editor SP) Naik further said, “Sanatan Sanstha is involved in these blasts and we have evidence of it.”
Futile Attempts to connect Madgoan blast with Malegoan blast!
Panaji (Goa): The police have taken into custody four persons in relation to bomb blast at Madgoan. The PTI has made a statement saying these four are connected with Sadhvi Pragya Singh, arrested in Malegoan bomb blast case. (Mischief of the media! Sadhvi Pragya Singh is in jail from the last several months. Enquiries of her and many others were made in connection with Malegaon blasts. No statement has ever been made by the police relating Sanatan Sanstha with Sadhvi Pragya Singh and Malegoan blasts. In spite of this leading news institution of India has given this absurd statement, what do we say to these ?- Editor SP)

The Goa State Home Minister Mr. Ravi Naik has said that the explosion has occurred prematurely before the explosives reached the planned site. This explosion occurred at a place close to a place where a competition on “Narkasur Dahan”. Shri Naik said that this act shows the intention of people (who planned the blasts) to create hurdles in the tradition of “Narkasur Dahan”. Among the persons taken in custody are Sanatan Sanstha’s Administrator Mr. Virendra Marathe and Shri Suresh Naik who is brother of Mr. Yogesh Naik. The vehicle in which the explosives were kept belonged to Shri Suresh Naik.

If you are a Hindu, your blood must boil upon reading this : Muslims attack Hindu Pilgrimage in Bengal !

leave a comment »

Vardhaman (W. Bengal) – The pilgrimage to Deity ‘Buro Rajer’, who is considered to be a form of Lord Shiva, takes place every year at Jamalpur Town here. A few days ago, while this pilgrimage was on, over a hundred Muslims attacked the participating devotees.

In this attack, four Hindus were killed and over a hundred were injured. (Muslims attack a Hindu pilgrimage and massacre them; while Hindus remain mere spectators. How long this will go on ? Hindus should not be under any misconception that politicians of any party, Police and Administration will come to their help ! Atleast now, start taking self-defence training to repel the attacks by Muslims !- Editor) After this attack by Muslims, several Hindus are missing and it is feared that the death toll may rise. During the attack, Muslims forcibly took many of the participating Hindu women to nearby jute fields and raped them. (This clearly proves that Hindu women are not safe in a state ruled by Communists, who are hand in glove with the Muslims ! – Editor) Despite such a major incident, newspapers in the state chose to remain quiet. This news, then, was published on a website – http://www.hindusamhati.org. (The Bharatiya media that does not exhibit the brutal face of Muslims are anti-Hindu indeed !- Editor)

Nehru-Khan-Gandhi Dynasty

leave a comment »

Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of modern India, and he ruled the country from 1947 to 1964. He was born on 14th November 1889, to Motilal and Swarup Rani Nehru. The family belonged to a Kashmiri Brahmin tribe called ‘Pandit.’ Indira Gandhi, daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, became prime minister of India in 1966. Mrs. Gandhi was born on November 19, 1917 to Jawaharlal and Kamala Nehru. She was named Indira Priyadarshini Nehru. She fell in love and decided to marry Feroze Khan, a family friend. Feroze Khan’s father, Nawab Khan, was a Muslim, and mother was a Persian Muslim. Jawaharlal Nehru did not approve of the inter-caste marriage for political reasons (see http://www.asiasource.org/ society/indiragandhi.cfm). If Indira Nehru were to marry a Muslim she would loose the possibility of becoming the heir to the future Nehru dynasty. At this juncture, according to one story, Mahatma Gandhi intervened and adopted Feroze Khan, gave him his last name (family name/caste name) and got the name of Feroz Khan changed to Feroz Gandhi by an affidavit in England. Thus, Feroze Khan became Feroze Gandhi. Though Mahatma belonged to Bania/Gandhi caste (a business tribe) the proposal was acceptable to Nehru for political reasons. Indira Nehru married Feroze (Khan) Gandhi in 1942 and became Indira Gandhi, which helped her politically as daughter of Nehru (the first Prime Minister of the Indian Union) and daughter–in-law of Gandhi (the father of the nation) securing her place in the future Nehru-Gandhi dynasty (based on swordoftruth.com). Another story, according to Mr. Arvind Lavakare in a personal communication to me, is that Feroz had a Parsi father whose surname was “GHANDI” not “GANDHI”. That was made clear by an advertisement in a major English newspaper of Allahabad. It was Mahatma Gandhi who suggested to Nehru that Feroze’s surname be spelt as “GANDHI” instead of the original “GHANDI”. An RSS columnist wrote that “Ghandi’s” mother was a Muslim, and since an offspring takes on the religion of its mother, Feroz ought to be considered a Muslim. Indira Gandhi ruled the country from 1966 to 1984, except for a short period from 1977 to 1980. Rajiv (Khan) Gandhi was born to Indira (Khan) Gandhi and Feroze (Khan) Gandhi. He converted to Christianity to marry Catholic Italian Sonia Miano (according to swordoftruth.com). He became prime minister in 1984 after Indira was assassinated by her own bodyguards. He ruled the country for 5 years from 1984 to 1989. The Nehru- (Khan)-Gandhi dynasty ended as Sonia, declined to accept the power, after Rajiv was assassinated in 1991. (The non-charismatic non-leaders of Congress (I) party handed over the reins of the party to reluctant Sonia, who now leads the Congress party and soon will lead the Indian Union). The Nehru-Khan-Gandhi dynasty and the veneration and worship of Catholic Italian Sonia Miano (Khan) Gandhi by the Congress party as well as Indian (both Hindus and Muslims) masses throughout India can be considered as great examples of Indian secularism. The Nehru-Khan-Gandhi dynasty, revived by Sonia Gandhi, swept back to power with vengeance in 2004 elections after a brief vacation of about 15 years. Sonia Gandhi, who was born in Italy and married into the dynasty, begged her husband to stay out of politics and was drawn into it herself only when the party was in dire need of leadership. A new generation of Gandhis arrives to save ailing party from disaster at the polls. Sonia Gandhi (55) inducted her son Rahul (34) and daghter Priyanka (33) into politics and they actively participated and won in the recent elections. A calcified, out-of-touch, visionless and nepotistic dynasty is poised once again to lead and the dynasty rule continues in the world’s largest democracy, albeit with fresh and young Indo-Italian genes having Brahmin-Christian-Muslim-Parsi blood with charming faces and charisma which no other Indian can claim. Sonia Gandhi’s rise from a small-town in postwar Italy to modern India is a story of love, death and dynasty, culminating in the most sensational victory of an Italian middle class woman ever to become the kingmaker in the Indian Union of a billion people. She will run the country from behind scenes as she installs Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister of the Indian Union, to avert a brewing foreigner-crisis and save the country.

Kerala’s biggest challenge – Fastest breeding ‘Talibanization’

leave a comment »

“Hindu society faces multi-faceted attacks from all anti-national forces. Hindus must protect their Nation from another division, and they must, above all, save the dying Hindu community of Kerala”, says with great anguish, CI Isaac, a retired professor of Thiru-ananthpuram, who depicts in a touching article the pitiable condition of Hindus in Kerala. A gist of the article (based on the First PA Ramakrishnan Memorial Lecture delivered in Chennai) is presented here.
Kerala is today a haven for terrorists’ operations. Its 580-km unchecked coastline is a major attraction for terrorist outfits.

A strategy of ethnic cleansing is in operation on the coastline, to make the 580-km coastline safe for ISI-sponsored activities.

Currently, from Ponnani to Beypore, a length of 65-km coastline, no Hindu fishermen hamlet can be seen; all were cleansed by conversion or by threat. A few Hindu fishermen hamlets survive north of Beypore, such as Marad.

On 2nd May 2003, ISI-sponsored terrorists [NDF] conducted an ethnic cleansing operation here. Eight Hindu fishermen were brutally killed by terrorists.

Bangalore city witnessed a series of bomb blasts on 25th July 2008. Recently, the Karnataka Police booked the culprits of this incident – all nine were Malayalis from Malappuram.

The brains behind most of the recent blasts in our metro cities hail from Kerala.

It is a convention among Muslims of northern Kerala to insist that Hindus should keep their business establishments closed on Fridays, not go for fishing on Fridays, shut down hotels during Ramzan; those who disobey pay the price.

Once SIMI was tainted, it changed its name to NDF. So now NDF has become a watchword for subversive activities in Kerala.

Likewise, half a dozen Organizations camouflaged as NGOs are at the forefront justifying Talibanism (these include the Forum for Ideological Thought, Karuna Foundation, Islamic Youth Centre, Minority Rights Watch)

Election Manifesto for Hindu Voters!

with one comment

Cast your Vote for a Candidate who is Ethical and who will look after Hindu Interests!

Hindus should remember that their vote is important for pulling the ‘secular’ politicians down and establishing a rule based on Dharma! ‘Who to vote for’ is taught to Muslims in Mosques and to Christians in the Churches. What is wrong then, to tell Hindus that they should vote only for a candidate who is interested in Hindu welfare? – Editor

Dear Hindu Brothers and Sisters,
The politicians, who we Bharatiyas so confidently handed over the reigns of our country to after Independence, have made it worthless. We have experienced extreme deterioration of our country over the last 61 years, even though political parties of all hues were given chance to rule.

The Nation has deteriorated because of Adharmi (unright-eous) politicians!: During ancient times people used to be happy, fearless and prosperous because the Hindu Kings then followed their duty and Dharma. The politicians and rulers today are unrighteous and misuse power for their own interests. This has led to deterioration of Bharat at all levels. The people are overwhelmed with poverty, unemployment, corruption, crime and misconduct.

The ‘secular’ rulers them-selves are responsible for the pathetic state of Dharma!: Activities against the Hindu Dharma and appeasement of Muslims & Christians has become a permanent feature of the ‘secular’ politicians. Therefore, in a Hindu majority Bharat the very faith of Hindus on Dharma was hurt through various media of denigration of Hindu Deities, killing of Hindu leaders, anti-Hindu laws etc. Eighty-five crore Hindus who are not united on the lines of Dharma, saw harm being caused to their Dharma; while non-Hindus were united and therefore, were appeased by the politicians for their votes. To arrest the present pitiable condition of the Nation and Dharma, it is essential to elect candidates who are patriotic, followers of Dharma, care for the people, have a warrior attitude, are morally strong and have a sacrificing nature. For that it is essential that the Dharma-shakti of Hindus manifests through the medium of the ballot and that is our collective responsibility. Therefore, seriously think who will you give your invaluable vote to!

Do not vote for such candidates!
1. Corrupt, criminal, uneducated and those who hop from party to party

2. Those who offer drinks, parties, money, clothes, picnics and luxury items in exchange for votes

3. Those who play caste-politics by encouraging the reservation culture and thus divide the society

4. Parties who appoint defeated candidates to the posts of Governors or Chief of some Corporation etc.

5. Those who have amassed unlimited wealth after being elected, kept crores in Swiss / other banks, have hidden their black money and have evaded taxes

6. Those who disrupt the working of Parliamentary or Legislative sessions and thus cause loss of public money

7. Those who spend public money on advertisements, when there is a debt of crores of rupees on the Nation and when 30% of our population lives below the poverty line

8. Those who spread such denigrating history – ‘Sri Ram is a myth’, ‘Lokmanya Tilak, Savarkar, Bhagat Singh were terrorists’ and ‘Shivaji Maharaj was wicked and deceitful’

9. Those who pretend to be Hindutvavadis, after sensing the oncoming wave of Hindutva

10. Those involved in preparing anti-Hindu laws and those who hate Hindu Dharma, Deities, Hindu Holy texts and Sanskrut language

11. Those who distribute the donations of Hindu devotees to Churches, Mosques, Christian Schools, after taking over the temples under Government management

12. Those who participate in programmes of Muslims and Christians, but do not participate in Hindu agitations for the defense of Dharma and ignore undesirable practices taking place during festivals in their own constituency

13. Those who out of their fanatic mentality, give tickets to Muslims and never lose a single opportunity to appease them

14. Those who provide reservations to minorities in jobs, educational field, give subsidy of crores of rupees for Haj pilgrimage and donate thousands of acres of land for building Mosques and Cemeteries

15. Those who try to destroy the places of Hindu cultural heritage – Ram Setu, Bham hill (where Saint Tukaram did penance) and those who do not allot permanent land for the Amarnath pilgrims

16. Those who never register a simple protest even when Hindu leaders are murdered, or when Muslims instigate riots, when vandalism of Hindu Deities Idols takes place or when the Hindu-hater MF Husain makes nude paintings of Bharatmata and Hindu Deities

17. Those who have neglected the rehabilitation of four and a half crore Kashmiri Hindus, who due to Muslim atrocities had to leave their lands, and thus have subjected them to a miserable life in refugee camps

18. Those who arrest a Dharmaguru of Hindus and torture Him, but do not dare to touch Imam Bukhari (who has many times given Nation-dividing incendiary speeches and also has many criminal cases against him)

19. Those who have allowed the infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims and also have granted them Bharatiya nationality

20. Those who have delayed execution of the death sentence to terrorist Mohammad Afzal and those who do not intend to find a permanent solution to the menace of terrorism
(Hindus should remember that their vote is important for pulling the ‘secular’ politicians down and establishing a rule based on Dharma! – Editor)

Vote such candidates!
1. Non-corrupt, of good character and those who pay their taxes sincerely

2. Those who fulfill all the promises given during their election campaign

3. Those who celebrate their family programmes like marriage, birthday in a simple manner and donate the saved money for the cause of the Nation and Dharma

4. Those who always keep in mind – “I am not the master of the people but their servant”, and while doing their duty unfailingly also teach the people qualities – discipline, sacrifice, pride in the Nation and Dharma

5. Those who strive to correct the mistakes and heretic curriculum in the text books

6. Those who put efforts to see that the administrative work is carried out in the regional language and all public boards are displayed in a regional language. Those who will take firm steps towards avoiding of unnecessary importance to English language

7. Those who promise that the administration, Police and Armed forces will have only those who abide by Dharma

8. Those who vow to bring in a Common Civil Code which will consider all caste and religions with a neutral attitude

9. Those who are constantly active for the cause of Hindutva and those who promise to safeguard Hindu Dharma in their election manifesto

10. Those who run to the rescue of Hindus in conditions such as riots, and defend them

11. Those who try in every way to prevent denigration of Hindu Dharma, Deities, Holy texts of Hindus, and the National heroes

12. Those who clearly mention in their manifesto that they will bring stringent laws like banning of cow-slaughter and religious conversions

13. Those who will fight for the welfare of Hindus in Parliament, Legislative Assemblies and Municipalities

14. Those who will try to stop the glorification of such anti- Hindus like Aurangzeb, Afzal Khan and Akbar

15. Those who will promise to introduce stringent laws to finish off terrorism and Naxalism

16. Those who promise in their manifesto that once they are elected to the office, they will punish all the politicians who have delayed the execution of Mohammed Afzal, those who have weakened anti-terrorist laws and the politicians who do not throw out the Bangladesh infiltrators

If candidates are not suitable!
1. If no candidate in your constituency is eligible as above, then boycott the election! Besides, if more than 50% of the voters in a constituency are boycotting the elections, then send a letter to the President to pass a law for such candidates to be declared ineligible and elections be held again!

2. Compel the rulers to pass a law whereby the voters in a constituency can call back an elected candidate, if his work for public welfare is unsatisfactory!

3. Let the candidates know beforehand that public can take tough action against them if they fail to act according to their promises!

Muslim passenger from Pakistan abuses Hindu in Malaysian Airlines flight:- ‘She’s a Hindu, I cannot sit beside her

leave a comment »

Radhika Iyer-O’Sullivan | Jan 20, 09 3:55pm
I am a Malaysian currently residing and working in Dubai. On Dec 25, 2008, I flew with Malaysian Airlines flight MH161 to Kuala Lumpur to visit my parents. I was in seat 36H (an aisle seat) and the seat next to me, 36K (window seat) was vacant. The flight stopped over at Karachi for an hour.

In Karachi, more passengers boarded the plane. One male passenger boarded, showed his boarding pass to a stewardess and she pointed to seat beside me (36K). The man looked at me and said, ‘She’s a Hindu, I cannot sit beside her.’ The stewardess responded, ‘So what? What’s wrong with Hindu?’ The man then began to yell and shout that he would not sit next to a Hindu.

The crew insisted that he had to because there were no other seats available because the plane was full. Then this passenger sat down but began to verbally abuse my faith and the crew members. I sat in my seat but was physically cringing away from him. The flight supervisor was summoned and until then the man was still seated next to me. Imagine my shock, horror and fear in being next to a hostile, abusive person.

One steward did stand next to me but did not offer any help and I did not feel safe or reassured. I reached out and told that steward that I did not feel safe anymore. I said this to him softly in English and he told me to sit and wait. He then walked off and a female crew member took his place. All this time I was under the impression that this hostile passenger beside me was a Pakistani.

I then told the stewardess in Malay that this man should not be seated beside me after what he had said about me. There were other Malaysian passengers sitting in the same area and all of them heard me. She smiled and merely nodded.

Finally, the flight supervisor, ‘SB’, approached the passenger and after an angry exchange, the passenger said, ‘Move her then!’ and SB replied, ‘Yes, we will move her’. More angry words were exchanged and it was revealed that the passenger was actually a Malaysian. When this news was revealed, the passenger actually stood up with his fists up, ready to be physically violent. I was then hauled out of my seat and taken to the back of the plane. I was kept in the kitchen.

By this time I had gone into shock and was crying uncontrollably. I was shaking with rage because I was in a position where there was nothing I could do to defend myself. No one else seemed to be doing anything too.

I could not see what was happening from the rear of the plane but I did see uniformed security personnel approaching my original seat. I could not hear or make out what was happening as there was a group of people standing around my original seat. Eventually, the group left and it was announced that the plane would be taking off.

All this time I was in the kitchen, shaking and crying. All that was done for me was crew members taking turns to ask me if I was okay and offering me Coke and water! The plane began to taxi and I was then taken to another seat (42H). As I sat down, I asked the steward, ‘Is he off the plane?’ and the answer was, ‘No.’ I was appalled.

After the plane took off, the flight supervisor, SB, came and sat beside me. He explained to me that they could not put him off the plane because he was a deportee and if they had insisted on putting him off, then the plane would not have been cleared for take off. I was still crying at this point. I asked, ‘Why am I in a different seat? He should be!’ but my question was not answered.

The plane was not full. There were eight seats vacant in the rear, four on the right aisle and four seats on the left. Seat 42H, where I was put, was one of those vacant seats in the rear. If the MAS crew knew there was a deportee boarding, should they not have made arrangements to place him at the rear of the plane? What kind of airline policy allows a deportee to sit beside a female passenger travelling alone?

I spent the next five and a half hours on the flight in tears. I was not able to sleep because I knew that a hostile passenger was only six rows down from me. I was not afraid but in rage. My friends who are reading this would know the kind of person I am. I have always stood up for my rights and for the rights of people whom I love. I would not usually tolerate such abuse and I would not have hesitated in defending myself.

What stopped me was knowing that I was on a plane, in a confined space and that there were other passengers around me too, women and children. The abusive passenger was not removed from the plane and when we landed at KLIA, he disembarked like a normal passenger and was not escorted or arrested. I also disembarked knowing that I was now in the same terminal, on my own, as this hostile passenger.

I am very disappointed with the way MAS dealt with the incident. That passenger should have been taken to the rear of the plane and restrained. I was the victim of the incident yet I lost my chosen seat that I had paid for. Apart from offers of water, Coke and some verbal reassurances, the crew did not do anything else for me.

I have contacted other major airlines and this is how they would have dealt with the matter: I would have been moved to Business/First Class and I would have been escorted into the terminal until I safely exited the airport. MAS did not do anything for me. First of all, they jeopardised my safety and well-being by forcing the passenger to sit beside me knowing that he was hostile towards me and then they did nothing else to keep me safe.

I was in the same cabin as that passenger, wondering if he was going to walk by or pass me. I spent the entire five and a half hours in tears because I could not stand up for my rights and also because I had to keep my own rage pent-up.

Once I landed, I rang my husband in Dubai and related the events to him. He took immediate steps to contact MAS but to no avail. I stayed for one week in Malaysia and every single day, I tried to call their Customer Complaints Department. All I got was a voice mail. I left numerous messages but no one called me back. No one contacted my husband in Dubai. It is only after he put it up on the MAS blog that we have received some kind of response. Fourteen days after the incident, someone from MAS called me to offer an apology.

My husband also received an email from someone who has offered me 25 percent discount on a return flight from KL to Dubai and actually referred to that abusive passenger as a ‘fellow customer’! She also clearly stated that measures taken were to prevent that passenger from getting angrier. So in other words, they do admit that.

These are the questions I posed to MAS:

Why force a passenger who is racially abusive and hostile to my appearance and faith to sit beside me? There were other seats available at the rear as I discovered later. This was not a passenger who was merely fussing about his seat, this was a passenger who was potentially a threat to another passenger.

Why did the flight supervisor immediately give in to his demands and agree to move me? I was not the passenger causing trouble.

Upon retrospect, I think I was lied to. I do not think the passenger was a deportee. It was a lie told to me to keep him on the plane and keep me quiet. If a lie was told, that means that the crew took measures to protect the hostile passenger and themselves but not me, the victim. If so, then the MAS crew perpetuated the racism and discrimination initiated by the passenger.

If this is the case, then the entire crew participated in jeopardising my safety and appropriate action should be taken against them. If the passenger was truly a deportee or an INA (inadmissible because of visa) then the plane captain should have documents about him. If a deportee or INA caused trouble on a flight, the captain should have been informed immediately.

Why was the captain not informed and if he was, why did he not come to see me? I have been informed that KLIA security had been called but there was no one waiting when the plane landed. The abusive passenger disembarked like any other normal passenger. Why was he not nabbed or restrained? Why did not the crew ensure my safety in the terminal too?

I am demanding a formal, written apology from Malaysian Airlines. I want a truthful, reasonable explanation for all the five points I have listed above. I want some compensation for what I suffered. So far, I have only received an e-mail informing that the matter is under investigation.
